Integrative Approach

Trauma-Informed Therapy With a Mind-Body Focus

Our work is grounded in a trauma-informed framework that recognizes how past experiences—especially those that were overwhelming, repeated, or relational—can continue to shape present patterns.

Rather than focusing on just one method, we integrate evidence-based approaches to support meaningful and lasting change. This may include EMDR, cognitive and behavioural strategies, parts work (IFS-informed), and somatic-based interventions.

We focus not only on insight, but on integration. This means helping you understand why certain patterns exist, while also working experientially to shift how they are held in the body and nervous system.

Therapy is paced intentionally to support regulation, build capacity, and avoid overwhelm. The goal is not to push through, but to create the conditions where processing and change can actually occur.

    Land Acknowledgment
We recognize that the land on which our work takes place is the traditional territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, covered by Toronto Purchase Treaty 13. We also honour the enduring presence of the Huron‑Wendat and Haudenosaunee peoples, who have been stewards of this land since time immemorial. Today, this territory remains home to many Indigenous peoples—First Nations, Inuit, and Métis—and we remain grateful to the caregivers of this land.
